A modern musk that's feminine and inviting / 1.7 oz & .33 oz
Ellis Brooklyn Myth is the most wearable, feminine musk we've come across. Like all the Ellis Brooklyn scents, it's free of endocrine-disrupting phthalates and parabens, but far more sophisticated than the typical essential-oil fragrances that are typically the only option if you're avoiding those questionable ingredients. It’s no wonder the Ellis Brooklyn scents are so excellent: they’ve been created by Bee Shapiro, a beauty and style writer for The New York Times, Vogue, and others, and Jerome Epinette, the genius behind Byredo and other chic fragrances.
Bee describes Myth in this beautiful manner: "The airy beauty of jasmine petals and tiger orchid meets the sexy, undeniable warmth of liquid musks and white cedarwood. It's a sophisticated fragrance for the senses, for the gods and worthy of the myths it will create." By the way, Myth is the scent that Bee wears every day. It's one of our favorites, too.
The phthalate-free fragrance, made in small batches in New York, is housed in an environmentally-friendly glass bottle from an Ecocert supplier; the biodegradable Bakelite compression cap is petrochemical-free. And it all will look gorgeous on your dresser.
If you're not sure which Ellis Brooklyn scent to try, check out their Chronicle set; it includes samples of all of them!
