We became the first US retailer for TWELVE Beauty six years ago, and this Spanish brand’s formulas have since become some of our most adored. Also adored: TWELVE’s founder, Dr. Pedro Catalá, whose impeccable credentials and clever sense of humor make him one of our most popular visitors.

We’re thrilled to announce that Pedro’s coming back for a visit this fall! You'll find information about all of our events with Pedro below. And yes, you can sign up for all the Pedro events and a consultation. Sunday, 9/17 from 5-6pm: SF Botanical Garden Tour
Given Pedro's background in botany and ability to apply his knowledge to skincare, we couldn't think of anyone we'd rather have guiding us through San Francisco's beautiful Botanical Garden. Please let us know you're coming by signing up here; we'll send you a follow-up email to let you know where to find us. We'll also bring a TWELVE-inspired gift for everyone who joins us that day.

Tuesday, 9/19 from 6-7pm: Ingredient-Deciphering Masterclass
One of the things we love most about Pedro is that he is refreshingly opinionated about what makes good skincare. Join us at 1825 Bush St to learn from the best: Pedro will teach you how to decipher an ingredient list, what to look for, and what to avoid. Be prepared for hilariously catty comments as he eviscerates the ingredient lists of popular products on the market (disguised, of course).
Reserve your spot here. Your $20 workshop fee can be applied to any purchase you make that day. Pedro will also be offering a sweet gift with purchase for you that day only; we'll be offering great wine and non-alcoholic cocktails.

Friday, 9/22 from 5:30-6:30pm: Formulation Masterclass
If you follow us on Instagram and watch our Stories, you may recall seeing videos of us all wearing hairnets and mixing up potions with Dr. Pedro Catalá during his prior visits. We’re thrilled to announce that he’s holding another formulation masterclass — and this time, you’ll be mixing up emulsions (lotions/creams) with Pedro and sprinkling in pigments to create your own Glow Island.
Reserve your spot here. Your $20 workshop fee can be applied to any purchase you make that day; you'll also leave with a jar of your own skincare creation. We'll be offering great wine, non-alcoholic cocktails, hairnets, and lots of good cheer to get your weekend started.

We're thrilled that Erica Randlett will be visiting us the week after Pedro is here! Please join us on the evening of Thursday, September 28: we'll offer a Gua Sha masterclass with Erica Randlett, the marvelous holistic esthetician who's flying in from the Berkshires for a residency at Ayla. Erica was the first person to tell us about Gua Sha years ago, and she's a true master. In this class, Erica will show us how to best use the Nephrite Jade Gua Sha Tool from Lanshin.
