Vitamin- and mineral-rich herbal infusion with detoxifying, calming benefits / 1.4 oz

La Ferme Saint-Sylvain’s Stinging Nettle infusion is an herbal supplement, in deliciously drinkable form, that many could benefit from. Because its virtues are so broad and significant, we consider Stinging Nettle to be one of the powerhouses in our collection of herbal infusions.

Key benefits of this infusion
Antioxidant-rich Stinging Nettle is a popular infusion due to its energizing, immune-system-stimulating properties. Rich in vitamins, minerals, and iron, it is often used as a detoxifying treatment (because it can help with skin conditions like eczema and acne, it’s many holistic facialists’ frequent recommendation). It is also known for its positive effects on cardiovascular health and bone health as well as muscle and joint pain, and it has a pleasantly earthy taste. You can find more information about the benefits of nettles in this scientific journal (if you want alllll the details) and in this more concise article from the BBC’s Good Food.

About herbal infusions
We think of herbal infusions as the best type of supplement: they’re minimally processed and considered to be the gentlest way to experience the benefits of a given medicinal plant. But, compared to the usual bag of herbal tea, herbal infusions are fresher and more potent, consumed in higher concentrations in order to reap their medicinal benefits. We source our organic herbs in France, where herbal medicine is very popular; it's an extra level of easy, effective health support — a way of filling the gaps in your diet and bolstering your health without popping a pill or taking a stronger pharmaceutical aid that might have undesirable side effects. Read more about our founder’s fascination with herbal infusions here.

Where we source our herbs
La Ferme Saint-Sylvain is a small organic family farm in France’s Nouvelle-Aquitaine region with a long history in agriculture. The Maupin family has lived and cultivated the land in this area (one of Europe’s leading regions in organic farming) since 1642; today, they cultivate more than 40 varieties of organic medicinal plants with a focus on biodiversity, sustainability, and the well-being of both its customers and the earth. From sowing to packaging, every step of the process at La Ferme Saint-Sylvain is artisanal, conducted with great care to preserve the benefits of each particular crop. How to make your infusion
Please see “How to use” below; since these are loose-leaf herbs, this infuser mug is, in our opinion, an essential!

Note: As with all dietary supplements, this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. While we have chosen all of our infusions to be as easy and effective as possible, nettles may not be suitable if you’re currently taking medication for high blood pressure or diabetes, or if you have kidney disease or any blood clotting disorders. Please check with your doctor before consuming nettle infusion if you’re not sure if it’s right for you. If you experience any symptoms such as hives, itchy throat, or upset stomach, please discontinue use.

How to Use
