Deep-cleaning, pore-unplugging, yet non-drying cleanser / 4 oz

Marie Veronique’s Refining Cleanser (formerly known as Treatment Cleanser) is a beautifully unique animal: an exfoliating cleanser that preserves lipid integrity and microbial balance as it refines skin’s texture.

This brightening, pore-minimizing formula deep cleans and unclogs pores with an efficient blend of alpha and beta hydroxy acids (lactic acid and black willow bark) while apple cider vinegar, a natural antimicrobial, helps restore skin’s pH balance. At the same time, it helps boost the ceramide production necessary for healthy barrier function. If you’ve been a fan of drugstore “Deep Clean” cleansers in the past, you’ll find that this is a kinder, gentler, much more adult-appropriate version that still leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean.

Surprisingly, this cleanser is actually one of our favorite products in Marie Veronique’s entire, and entirely wonderful, Treatment Remedy line.
