The Dara Kennedy Eye Serum is a stunningly effective gel-cream, powered by marine botanicals and ginger, that encourages a fresher, firmer, better-rested look around the eyes.

What it does

First, power players including our hand-harvested giant kelp provide the perfect balance of hydration and lightweight moisture for the delicate skin around the eyes, boosted with brighteners. Then, three different seaweeds and two types of ginger extracts come in to de-puff, significantly reduce both hyperpigmented and vascular dark circles, smooth wrinkles, energize the skin for greater luminosity, and encourage collagen synthesis (which is key in that area just above the lid, where it tends to get crepey).

Why it works so well
1. IT’S ALL ABOUT LOCATION. Most eye formulas can’t be used all around the eye area, limiting use to just below the eye or just along the brow bone. Dara Kennedy Eye Serum is designed and tested for use all around the eye area, including the vulnerable part over the lid: skin here tends to get lax because it’s significantly thinner, it’s constantly moving, and it gets hit with a lot of UV exposure, which can dramatically accelerate the signs of aging.

How to Use

The Eye Serum is an excellent team player, designed to work beautifully under makeup. If you wear heavy makeup, as always you may need to experiment a bit to find the best application method for your skincare underneath it.

• FOR DARK CIRCLES: A new, ginger-derived ingredient referred to as a “bioconcealer” (!) — the first naturally derived cosmetic active ingredient proven to be effective on both hyperpigmented and vascular dark circles — counteracts oxidative and inflammatory stress to minimize the appearance of dark circles and improve skin oxygenation for a brighter, fresher look.
• FOR PUFFINESS: A combination of potent seaweed extracts from France (Ascophyllum nodosum and asparagopsis armata) improve elasticity and resilience while shielding skin’s microcapillaries to enhance oxygenation and skin cells’ micronutrition. • FOR A BRIGHTER, MORE EVEN SKIN TONE: A special, polyphenol-rich brown algae from the coast of France (ascophyllum nodosum) improves radiance and luminosity around the eyes; it’s been clinically proven to neutralize the free radicals that can cause hyperpigmentation as effectively as ascorbic acid, the most powerful form of Vitamin C. It works with the sea fennel to gently lighten existing hyperpigmented areas around the eyes and encourage a more even skin tone.
