Description

Soothing herbal infusion with a calming effect and elegant aroma / 1.4 oz

La Ferme Saint-Sylvain’s Linden infusion is a soothing herbal supplement, in deliciously drinkable form, that’s frequently used to promote a restful night’s sleep.

Key benefits of this infusion
Antioxidant-rich linden is a very popular infusion in France due to its delicate aroma and taste as well as its calming effect on the nervous system: it is the perfect bedtime infusion. If you’ve never tried linden before, its smell and taste are somewhat similar to chamomile, but (we think) so much more elegant and beautiful. Studies have shown linden to be an effective nervous system regulator for those who tend to get anxious; and in part due to the presence of flavonoids like kaempferol, linden has also been shown to be a vasodilator, which can be helpful for headaches. Linden is a particular favorite of Dara's, whose mom discovered its soothing bedtime benefits during graduate school in France.

About herbal infusions
We think of herbal infusions as the best type of supplement: they’re minimally processed and considered to be the gentlest way to experience the benefits of a given medicinal plant. But, compared to the usual bag of herbal tea, herbal infusions are fresher and more potent, consumed in higher concentrations in order to reap their medicinal benefits.
We source our organic herbs in France, where herbal medicine is very popular; it's an extra level of easy, effective health support — a way of filling the gaps in your diet and bolstering your health without popping a pill or taking a stronger pharmaceutical aid that might have undesirable side effects. Read more about our founder’s fascination with herbal infusions here.

Where we source our herbs
La Ferme Saint-Sylvain is a small family farm in France’s Nouvelle-Aquitaine region with a long history in agriculture. The Maupin family has lived and cultivated the land in this area (one of Europe’s leading regions in organic farming) since 1642; today, they cultivate more than 40 varieties of organic medicinal plants with a focus on biodiversity, sustainability, and the well-being of both its customers and the earth. From sowing to packaging, every step of the process at La Ferme Saint-Sylvain is artisanal, conducted with great care to preserve the benefits of each particular crop. How to make your infusion
Please see “How to use” below; since these are loose-leaf herbs, this infuser mug is, in our opinion, an essential!

Note: As with all dietary supplements, this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. While we have chosen all of our infusions to be as easy and effective as possible, especially this one, please check with your doctor before consuming a linden infusion if you’re not sure if it’s right for you.

How to Use

Use 1-3 teaspoons per 12 oz cup. Prepare with boiling water and steep, covered, for 5-10 minutes according to your taste.
