Delicious, stress- and anxiety-relieving, mood-lifting infusion  / 1.4 oz

La Ferme Saint-Sylvain’s Lemon Balm infusion is an herbal supplement, in deliciously drinkable form, that we love for its calming, stress-relieving, uplifting benefits and delicate, lemony flavor.

Key benefits of this infusion
Lemon Balm has long been thought of as a master calmer: it has been used since the Middle Ages to help reduce stress and anxiety, ease indigestion, and promote a restful night’s sleep. Even before that, it was steeped in wine to lift the spirits. We think most of us could use a little Lemon Balm these days (it's an excellent gift, by the way).
Recent studies have shown that this antioxidant-rich herb is indeed very helpful where stress is concerned; this is probably our favorite reason to reach for a cup of Lemon Balm, but it has also been shown to alleviate PMS symptoms and indigestion, making it the perfect herbal infusion to have handy at all times. And its beautiful lemony flavor works equally well when prepared as a hot drink or over ice — just infuse it as usual (see “how to use”), then store it in the fridge.

About herbal infusions
We think of herbal infusions as the best type of supplement: they’re minimally processed and considered to be the gentlest way to experience the benefits of a given medicinal plant. But, compared to the usual bag of herbal tea, herbal infusions are fresher and more potent, consumed in higher concentrations in order to reap their medicinal benefits. We source our organic herbs in France, where herbal medicine is very popular; it's an extra level of easy, effective health support — a way of filling the gaps in your diet and bolstering your health without popping a pill or taking a stronger pharmaceutical aid that might have undesirable side effects. Read more about our founder’s fascination with herbal infusions here.

Where we source our herbs
La Ferme Saint-Sylvain is a small family farm in France’s Nouvelle-Aquitaine region with a long history in agriculture. The Maupin family has lived and cultivated the land in this area (one of Europe’s leading regions in organic farming) since 1642; today, they cultivate more than 40 varieties of organic medicinal plants with a focus on biodiversity, sustainability, and the well-being of both its customers and the earth. From sowing to packaging, every step of the process at La Ferme Saint-Sylvain is artisanal, conducted with great care to preserve the benefits of each particular crop. How to make your infusion
Please see “How to use” below; since these are loose-leaf herbs, this infuser mug is, in our opinion, an essential!

While we have chosen all of our infusions to be as easy and effective as possible, especially this one, please check with your doctor before consuming a lemon balm infusion if you’re not sure if it’s right for you.
