Luzern's Replenishing Oil is another unexpected winner from this longtime-favorite brand. Richer yet not greasy, it brings a nourished glow to even the driest skin conditions.
The Replenishing Oil features a hefty dose of rosehip oil, a master healer that soothes dryness, repairs damage and discoloration due to UV exposure, and reduces scarring thanks to a combination of naturally occurring essential fatty acids, retinoic acid, and powerful carotenoids.
But here's where Luzern's formulation genius comes in: to avoid the heavy feel that usually plagues rosehip oil-based products, they've blended it with rapidly-penetrating squalane (from olives), ethyl macadamiate (a fatty acid from macadamia nuts that's a natural alternative to silicone), Vitamin E-rich Sweet Almond oil, and soothing, GLA-rich Evening Primrose oil. The result is a fast-absorbing texture with a "dry oil" feel, and skin that looks perfectly moisturized
Luzern didn't stop there, though. (Of course not, those overachievers — and we love them for that.) They added a few of their favorite anti-aging Swiss botanical extracts, like Buddleja Davidii Leaf extract, which helps prevent UV-induced aging, and Peucedanum Ostruthium Leaf extract, which provides further environmental protection while soothing skin.
Overall, we find this oil to be beautifully balanced — deeply nourishing but non-greasy — and it's one of our favorites for dry, mature skin looking for a plump, dewy glow.
How to Use
- Use alone on clean skin for a light, natural glow.
- Press into skin on top of FDV Creme to seal in nutrients and moisture.
- Blend 2 drops into FDV Creme for intense hydration.
- Press onto skin over makeup to create subtle highlights.

To restore skin’s moisture barrier and elasticity:
- SQUALANE is identical to the lipids found in the skin’s protective barrier. It has the ability to deeply penetrate and supplement missing lipids in damaged skin, helping prevent moisture loss and restoring the feel of elasticity and skin flexibility.
- ORGANIC ROSEMARY LEAF EXTRACT reduces glycation which results from the cross-linking of collagen proteins and sugars, a key factor that accelerates the appearance of premature skin aging by impairing collagen and elastin fibers.
