Biofficina Toscana’s Curls and Waves Mousse is one of our new favorites: an easy, breezy, non-sticky mousse that accentuates and sets hair’s natural texture, delivering long-lasting body and bounce without stickiness. It threads the magic curl needle perfectly, providing enough hold so that your texture shows up and lasts throughout the day, but not so much that your hair feels stiff, crunchy, or heavy and helmet-like (the worst).

The formula’s plant-based curl activator leans on linseed and chia seed extracts, known in natural haircare circles for their ability to coat the hair shaft with a light, flexible film. Organic Tuscan kiwi extract, sourced from a farm in Pisa, adds a dose of vitamins and protective antioxidant benefits, while a plant-based structuring polymer helps protect and define hair even in damp or humid conditions—the type of environment that can deftly undo curl definition in a nanosecond.
