Description
Herbal infusion designed to facilitate calm throughout the body’s systems (nervous, digestive, and immune) / 20 g
Relax Infusion is a remarkably effective herbal infusion (or tisane) made to help you wind down and get a better night's sleep. It is, hands down, the most helpful, safe, and efficient solution that Dara has ever tried for decompressing at the end of the day.
This caffeine-free, loose-leaf blend is made from four different plants that are organically grown in France at La Ferme Saint-Sylvain, then cut and dried specifically to optimize the benefits of each one. Its unique mixture of angelica, tulsi, sage, and calendula was developed by La Ferme Saint-Sylvain's team in collaboration with Dara to be deeply calming without being habit-forming — and without typical side effects.
Relax Infusion can be taken throughout the day during times of peak stress and sleeping struggles, but we love taking it at bedtime. To us, it feels immediately like being covered with a soft, warm blanket that leads to a deeper, more restful night of sleep and — importantly — a fully refreshed wake-up in the morning. (If you’ve tried all the tricks, like valerian and melatonin, and found them to leave you groggy, we’re with you. This one won’t.)
Because we all have different reasons for struggling with stress and sleep, this beautifully balanced infusion addresses a variety of causes by soothing and bolstering the digestive, nervous, and immune systems. It’s the perfect thing to reach for during periods of stress, fatigue, hormonal changes, or anytime your body needs gentle support.
One of the secrets to Relax Infusion’s success is the synergy between its medicinal plants:
- It’s calming and balancing to the nervous system, thanks to the way sage, tulsi, and angelica work together to harmonize stress, anxiety, and hormonal changes.
- It’s calming to the digestive system, thanks to the way sage, angelica, and calendula work together to relieve bloating and ease the digestive process.
- It supports immunity and vitality, thanks to the way tulsi and sage bolster the immune system and boost mental clarity.
- It gently addresses inflammation, thanks to the way calendula and tulsi work together to calm internal irritations and reinforce the balancing effect of the entire blend.
If you’re wondering what Relax Infusion tastes like, it’s absolutely delicious…and also difficult to describe. It’s not too sweet, but not bitter; it’s complex, but easy to drink. It has a light vegetal flavor that’s balanced by the calendula petals that provide it with a beautiful pop of color.
We can’t go without it, and we suspect you won’t want to, either. (We also couldn’t think of a more perfect, gorgeous, works-for-anyone gift due to its gorgeous violet glass canister. Pair it with this glass mug for someone you love who could use an infusion of relaxation with a little extra ease.)
How to Use
Ingredients
- Tulsi is an adaptogen known for its stress-relieving effects. It can benefit the immune and respiratory systems; we also admire its antioxidant and neuroprotective effects.
- Sage has been used medicinally for centuries to address a variety of ailments; its Latin name, salvia, translates to “the one who relieves all ills.” Benefits range from supporting brain health (memory, focus) to alleviating menopause symptoms (hot flashes) to supporting metabolic health (blood sugar).
- Calendula is widely appreciated for its helpfulness with inflammatory conditions both in the digestive system and the skin. We admire its healing benefits both externally and internally as well as the support it provides for the liver and the body’s detoxification systems.
All the herbs in this blend are organically grown at La Ferme Saint-Sylvain in Mazerolles, France, where they are carefully dried and cut using the “herbalist cut” for optimized benefits.
