Description

Delicate tea with hormone-balancing benefits / 1.4 oz

La Ferme Saint-Sylvain’s Spearmint herbal infusion is an herbal supplement, in deliciously drinkable form, whose benefits range from alleviating joint stiffness to soothing the digestive system to balancing hormones. (Also: it tastes marvelous. You’ve never had mint tea this fresh-tasting before.)

Key benefits of this infusion
Spearmint is a popular infusion due to its delicate, invigorating flavor and soothing benefits where digestive troubles are concerned. It’s also known to be an excellent hormone-balancer, particularly for women struggling with PCOS and other hormone-related conditions. Finally, it has been shown to help relieve joint pain and stiffness for those with osteoarthritis due to its high levels of an antioxidant called rosmarinic acid.

About herbal infusions
We think of herbal infusions as the best type of supplement: they’re minimally processed and considered to be the gentlest way to experience the benefits of a given medicinal plant. But, compared to the usual bag of herbal tea, herbal infusions are fresher and more potent, consumed in higher concentrations in order to reap their medicinal benefits. We source our organic herbs in France, where herbal medicine is very popular; it's an extra level of easy, effective health support — a way of filling the gaps in your diet and bolstering your health without popping a pill or taking a stronger pharmaceutical aid that might have undesirable side effects. Read more about our founder’s fascination with herbal infusions on our blog.

Where we source our herbs
La Ferme Saint-Sylvain is a small family farm in France’s Nouvelle-Aquitaine region with a long history in agriculture. The Maupin family has lived and cultivated the land in this area (one of Europe’s leading regions in organic farming) since 1642; today, they cultivate more than 40 varieties of organic medicinal plants with a focus on biodiversity, sustainability, and the well-being of both its customers and the earth. From sowing to packaging, every step of the process at La Ferme Saint-Sylvain is artisanal, conducted with great care to preserve the benefits of each particular crop. How to make your infusion
Please see “How to use” below; since these are loose-leaf herbs, this infuser mug is, in our opinion, an essential!

Note: As with all dietary supplements, this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. While we have chosen all of our infusions to be as easy and effective as possible, especially this one, please check with your doctor before consuming spearmint infusion if you’re not sure if it’s right for you, particularly if you have kidney or liver problems or GERD.

How to Use

For one 12-oz serving, steep 1-3 teaspoons in boiling water. Infuse for 5-10 minutes according to your taste.
