Description

Skin-clearing, decongesting moisturizing oil / 1 oz full size

We’ve heard it several times now from in-the-know facialists and satisfied users: if you’re going to try just one item from Marie Veronique’s Treatment line, this Treatment Oil is the one. It acts as a moisturizer while also clearing and decongesting pores, controlling inflammation, and relieving any greasy feeling you might have on the surface of your skin.

If you’re acne-prone and have used oil-free moisturizers to no avail, you might just want to go in the opposite direction and apply an oil on your face instead. But it has to be this oil. Because, quite frankly, we haven’t found another ingredient list quite like this one — Marie painstakingly handpicked a combination of sebum-controlling, inflammation-fighting, skin-decongesting oils that, together, sink into skin quickly to deeply hydrate and help keep skin clear.

As Marie puts it, “Oils clear congestion much more effectively than other exfoliation methods because oils dissolve oils, and they penetrate deeply to break up blockages other ingredients can't reach.” It makes sense, doesn’t it? And when you read multiple reviews attesting to its desert island-worthy status, you begin to think that you can’t not give it a try. Go ahead; we support you wholeheartedly.

How to Use

Shake well before use and keep in a cool place. After cleansing and misting (and, ideally, applying Treatment Serum or Gentle Retinol Serum), gently massage a thin layer into face, neck and chest. For best results, use morning and night. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a physician

Ingredients

ARGAN OIL is rich in omega-6s and 9s, vitamin E, carotenes, squalene, and phenols, and has a remarkable ability to nourish, moisturize and improve skin elasticity. It also helps control surface sebum, thus eliminating that greasy look.
BORAGE OIL is high in GLAs (gamma-linolenic acid), which makes it instrumental in controlling one of the primary contributors to acne, namely, inflammation. Because borage oil also regulates water loss, it is excellent for treating adult acne.
TEA TREE OIL: Tests show that tea tree oil is as effective as benzoyl peroxide in combating P. acnes, the major acne-causing microbe. Better yet, it has none of the downside risks associated with BP, like sun sensitization and increased skin sensitivity.
BLACK WILLOW BARK EXTRACT contains salicylic acid, a beta-hydroxy acid that clears clogged pores by dissolving skin protein from the outside in. Our most effective acne-fighter.
