Like Reverie's other products, this one seems to just magically do what it's supposed to do. It turns unruly, straggly-looking waves into soft, bouncy, fragrant ones without dryness or stiffness; it adds volume to limp, lifeless locks almost as though it were the perfect salt spray/dry shampoo hybrid; and it adds just-edgy-enough texture to no-edge-whatsoever hair. If MILK is the perfect smoothing leave-in, which we think is the case, MARE is the perfect texturizing, volumizing one.

MARE features Mediterranean sea salt to add texture without crispiness, rice seed extract to enhance volume, and algae extract to boost shine — all of which have health-boosting benefits for your hair over the long term. And, like all Reverie's products, MARE features a gorgeous scent. This one is reminiscent of the shores of Southern Italy with hints of vanilla, bergamot, lemon, and almond.

For a beachy look, spray it onto damp hair, twist into sections, and air-dry. For volume, apply to roots before blow-drying. To create separation and volume, apply to dry hair from mid-shaft to ends and scrunch.
