Garrett Markenson, the creator of Reverie, told us, “Shampoo shouldn’t be a styling product. It should leave your hair clean and shiny, without harming color. That’s it. It should be simple and only have what it needs.” How could you not agree?
If you find that many natural/non-toxic/"green" shampoos leave your hair feeling a little too moisturized, try this one. It lathers nicely and leaves hair squeaky clean (in a good way) and shiny, which makes it particularly wondrous on oily scalps and fine hair. And the bottle will immediately make your shower look very, very chic.
Oh, and by the way: it smells terrific. The scent is a sophisticated, layered blend of neroli, pink grapefruit, lemon myrtle, bergamot, geranium, jasmine, bourbon vanilla, sandalwood, balsam, cardamom, and patchouli.
Pair it with Reverie’s super-creamy-but-never-heavy Conditioner, unless you have very short or very fine hair; in those cases, use MILK as a leave-in conditioner.
