Nourishing, grounding body oil with a beautifully silky texture / 6.8 oz

de Mamiel Salvation Body Oil is one of our favorite ways to experience the magic of de Mamiel every day, no matter what time of year it might be.

Created in honor of the earth season — the fifth season in Traditional Chinese Medicine — Salvation is intended to be deeply grounding while also fortifying the skin and boosting its elasticity. When you try it, you’ll first notice the incredibly silky texture: our tester and Guide, Kelly, noted, “It feels like rich luxury on skin, which you’d expect from de Mamiel. It applies easily, glides smoothly, and covers broad, sweeping areas with just one pump. Beautiful texture!” If you’re familiar with the other body oils we carry, this one is similar to MyHavtorn’s gorgeous body oil in weight, but with exceptional spreadability that makes it suitable for use year-round. 

You’ll then notice the scent, which Annee describes as “incredibly uplifting but also solidifying and grounding at the same time.” Highlights include frankincense, bergamot, myrrh, and jasmine; as Kelly noted, “Woodsy vibes, with a hint of smokiness.” Year-round earthing.

And aside from the texture and scent, the formula features all kinds of goodies to boost skin’s elasticity over time: 14 different antioxidant-rich herbs that have been macerated in beautiful oils like camellia, argan, baobab, rosehip, and prickly pear over a long period of time, with different herbs added at different times specifically chosen for optimal extraction. And in this newly updated formula, green coffee oil adds some de-puffing power, making Salvation Body Oil the perfect partner to a dry-brushing routine.
