Bouncy, nourishing formula that’s perfect as a primer and moonlights as a lip & eye mask / 0.5 oz 

Olio E Osso Salvezza Treatment Jelly was a delightfully unexpected addition to this beautiful brand created by celebrity makeup artist Paola LaMorticella in Portland, Oregon.

With a jelly-like texture that’s similar to a petroleum jelly but with more bounce, more nourishment, and no greasiness, Salvezza is a fantastic treatment for dewier, plumped-up skin. Thanks to brightening and tightening caffeine and nourishing squalane and Ceramide E, it makes for a beautiful primer around the eyes in particular. Paola tells us in this interview, “I started testing it on set as a primer because it really does plump the skin; I noticed a difference in the texture of skin when people were in my chair. I use it on crepe-y under-eyes and marionette lines before putting makeup on. I’ll let it sit, do something else, then come back and finish the makeup on that area. It makes skin kind of luscious.”

We all want skin that’s kind of luscious. And those of you who often think, “No eye cream could ever be rich enough for me!” will probably reach for it regularly as a deeply moisturizing eye cream, too. Paola loves it as a nightly mask on the lips and under the eyes, pairing it with our Sea Retinal (we love that she’s a fan!). 

Finally, if you’re slugging, please use this instead of the petroleum jelly you might ordinarily reach for. It’s just so much better.
