Highly pigmented, creamy and blendable pencil for eyes and lips / 0.5 oz 

Manasi7 Eye and Lip Definer answered two of our burning questions at once — “Where are all the great, good-for-you eyeliners?” and “Where are all the great, good-for you lip pencils?” — and answered them beautifully, with one highly pigmented, creamy, ultra-blendable pencil in gorgeous shades that can be used on either eyes or lips. (Note the use of “either” here: we suggest keeping separate pencils for your eyes and lips, since eyes are so sensitive. It’s just cleaner that way.)

As one would expect from Manasi7, the Eye and Lip Definer glides on like a dream and blends easily, with buildable color payoff that any makeup artist will admire. And while a blend of oils and waxes gives its vegan formula a smooth texture that eliminates any possibility of unpleasant tugging on application, it has a modern, matte finish that we love. 

You may be wondering, “Which shade do I use with my other Manasi7 favorites?” In true Manasi7 style, there are no rules, especially since these shades were developed to stand alone, too — but you’ll find some suggestions along with descriptions of each color below. Be sure to look under “How to use,” too, for specific tips on the suggested order of application when used with mascara and eye shadow. 

On the eyes, Eye & Lip Definer can create looks that range from soft definition to a defined, graphic eye to a full-on smoky eye, and it’s suitable for the delicate eye area including the waterline.
Combining shades can be beautiful, too: one of Susanne’s favorite combinations is Petunia on the upper lash line and Criollo on the lower lash line.

On the lips, Eye & Lip Definer can be used over the whole lip for buildable color with a matte finish. You can also combine it with Manasi7 All Over Colour or any lip product of your choice; for a glossy finish, apply Manasi7 All Over Shine on top.
Combining Eye & Lip Definer shades on the lip makes for a beautiful look, too: first, choose a shade close to your natural lip color and slightly outline the lip. Then fill in the inner corners of the lips with a deeper colored pencil. This allows you to add contour and shape to lips.

About the shades:

Petunia (deep black) is a black shade with hints of dark charcoal, inspired by the dark nuances of evening light. It offers versatility and coloristic depth in equal measure, allowing you to easily create everything from a smudgy, all-out smoky eye to more defined and sharp appearances. Either way, it transforms the entire face, and it’s suitable for the delicate eye area including your waterline. Repeat application for a more intense color.

Criollo (warm, dark brown) calls to mind ripening Brazilian cocoa beans as they acquire their rich yet soft brown hue. It is a multi-purpose shade designed to accentuate the eyes without making them look made up, and it’s also perfect for enhancing the shape of lips. Flattering for all skin tones, Criollo brings out natural gold and bronze undertones.
On eyes, try lining the upper lash line with Petunia and the lower line with Criollo for a soft yet sophisticated look. Add Eye Glow Colour Chaminade to create a smoky, brown, bronzy eye.
On lips, use Criollo to create a neutral brown lip; apply All Over Shine on top if you’d like a glossy finish.

Yubari (neutral, medium brown with hints of mauve), inspired by the Iris Germanica flower, is a shade that flatters all skin tones. Designed for looks of understated impact, Yubari is very easy to use and can create striking, monochromatic looks with just one swipe.
On eyes, apply Yubari all over the eyelid as a matte eyeshadow or softly define the eyes close to the lash line.
On lips, apply over the whole lip to achieve beautiful with matte finish. You can also combine it with our All Over Colour (we love it with Sisserou) or any lip product of your choice.  Apply All Over Shine on top if you’d like a glossy finish.
You can also try Yubari on both lips and eyes for an edgy, monochromatic look. Finish off with a coat of Precision Mascara in Obsidian to define the eyes.

Yokan (light, brownish-pink with cool undertones) is inspired by the hue of Tricolor beech leaves. Flattering to all skin tones, Yokan is designed to add a touch of fresh-faced, wintry, rosy allure; it looks mesmerizingly fresh on the eye and lip, no matter the season.
On eyes, draw lightly to naturally define the shape of your eyes or apply all over the lid as a shadow.
On lips, Yokan truly shines: it can be used on the lip to accentuate the cupid’s bow, or it can be used to overdraw the lip line for a plumper, fuller shape. Works beautifully with All Over Colour in Duras.

Spinoso (soft, dusty rose) takes its color cues from young rose petals. Flattering to all skin tones, elegantly understated, and highly usable, Spinoso has the depth and versatility to give both eyes and lips a fresh-faced appeal.
Use this romantic yet sophisticated rose on both eyes and lips for a charmingly minimal, monochromatic look.
On lips, Spinoso works beautifully with All Over Colour in Etruscan or Furusato. Apply All Over Shine on top for a glossy finish.

Castel (universally flattering berry) is a multi-use shade that takes its cue from the rich tint of Urmia red cherries. Boasting the ability to change your look dramatically, it can instantly provide intense and defined color payoffs or soft and romantic appearances. Castel is a perfect shade for all seasons, capable of adding a neutral touch for deeper skin tones and a pinch of subtle drama on a night out for fair to light skin tones.
On the lips, apply Castel closest to your lip line for definition, then apply All Over Colour in Damaskino or Alizarin, topping it with All Over Shine for a glossy finish.
Or, for a full color matte lip, apply the pencil on the whole lip (if you prefer a glossy finish, apply All Over Shine in Cristallo or Kaito on top).
On the eyes, add gentle definition by applying Castel close to your lash line and/or on the eyelid as an eyeshadow.

Macao (rich, classic, vibrant red) takes its color cues from the plumage of the South American scarlet macaw, native to Central and South America. Flattering to all skin tones, it adds a little bit of extra impact and panache and gives lips a plump, full shape.
Apply Macao over the whole lip to get a truly full, classic red lip with a matte finish. For a glossier finish, you can add All Over Shine in Cristallo or Kaito, either underneath or on top.
We also love Macao applied as a liner together with All Over Colour in Ikura. Add a bit of All Over Shine on top for a high-gloss finish.
