Rebekah Brown, founder & head of research
Rebekah is the Founder and Head of Research of co-creation community MPOWDER, a company dedicated to providing insight as well as innovation to ensure females can flourish during life’s biggest biochemical transition, from peri to post menopause. A researcher by trade, with over 20 years’ experience listening to people and shaping products and services to respond to their wants and needs, MPOWDER’s philosophy is driven by innate curiosity, deep respect for science and medical insight as well as emerging research pointing to the potential of traditional medicine and complementary therapies.
Dr Vera Martins, Head of Science
Dr Vera Martins is a qualified Naturopath and Herbalist with a PhD in Cancer Biology, and the Clinical and Head of Science at MPOWDER. She is also a Lifestyle Medicine Certified practitioner (DipBSLM). Vera's career started as an academic scientist. Through her work, she fell in love with natural health and today she practices as a Naturopath and Lifestyle Medicine expert specializing in hormone balance, perimenopause and menopause. She works alongside medical doctors, clinics and MPOWDER's holistic practitioners, providing a combination of nutrition, herbal remedies and lifestyle support to women, including those on HRT.
Dr Martins has a track record of success with her patients, a result of her unique science-based protocols and compassionate approach. She is a member of the Association of Master Herbalists (AMH) as well as the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM).
