Those of you who have shopped with us for a while doubtlessly know how much we love TWELVE Beauty and the master formulator behind it all, Dr. Pedro Catalá.
What you may not know is that, next month, TWELVE will undergo an exciting evolution that Pedro reveals (a bit) below: while the core ingredients he uses and the brand’s commitment to science and botanicals will remain the same, he’s adjusting every formula a little bit along with the packaging…and, very slightly, the name. (!)
For months now, I have been deeply immersed in the laboratory, reviewing formulas, testing, and tweaking—which, of course, is the part of my job that I enjoy the most.
In October, some of that work will finally leave the lab, marking the start of a new chapter for Twelve. I can’t reveal too much just yet, but I did want to keep you up to date, since many of you asked about my "disappearing act”! For those who know me, I love learning about the latest ingredients, new technologies, and everything to do with skincare. I feel so passionate about my job, so I am hoping that this passion will be reflected in this new venture.
On another note, during this process, some long-standing formulas will be taking a break. These include products that are deeply cherished—by me as well—and I know some of them have been part of your routines for years:
Ultra Revitalising Elixir, Glow Island, Glow Island Body Radiance, Rewarding Body Balm, Reverent Antioxidant Dry Body Oil, and The Scalp Cure will gradually become unavailable as current stock runs out.
This is not a goodbye; they will return later on. Some products simply need more time so they can return exactly the way I envision them.
I really wanted to share this with you personally because behind what you will see in October lie months of work, many decisions, and, above all, immense excitement.
